“For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” (Isaiah 56:7)

We worship in Norway House on Treaty 5 Territory. Many in our church family are Indigenous, and we offer respect to Indigenous peoples and Elders—past, present, and those yet to come.

Norway House Bible Church is a welcoming local church on West Island, pastored by Ed Lytle and his wife, Karen. Ed and Karen have served in northern ministry since 1982.

We are an NEFC congregation, affiliated with the Native Evangelical Fellowship of Canada (NEFC)—a fellowship of local evangelical Native churches that encourages and builds up one another in Christ and also serves as a ministry-worker sending agency. Rooted in Scripture and centered on Jesus Christ, we welcome people of all backgrounds to worship and grow together.

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs” (Colossians 3:16, NKJV).

Sunday Service (11:00 AM)

Join Norway House Bible Church for Sunday Service at 11:00 AM as we gather to worship Jesus Christ through singing, prayer, and Bible-centered preaching from the Word of God.

Everyone is welcome—whether you’re visiting for the first time, coming back after a while, or part of our regular church family.

Bible Study (Tues. 7:00PM)

Bible Study is at 7:00 PM on Tuesday every week.

This is a smaller group gathering with discussion and prayer, designed to help people grow in understanding the Bible, build friendships, and apply the gospel to everyday challenges. Please bring your own Bible if you have one, any version is welcome.
